100% agree!
In fact some MC and Parseword clues are significantly tougher than regular crossword grid clues precisely *because* you have to solve them in isolation.
The thing that makes CROSSwords easier is the first syllable 😆

It’s really interesting how people are getting great at Minute Cryptic and Parseword etc and are still terrified of full cryptic puzzles! Obviously there are levels of difficulties of all of these things, but believe me when I tell you that having crossing letters in a full puzzle *often* (cont.)
