The only name I did not know was the designer of this absolute wonder of a dress, Jan Taminiau, which the web tells me is a 50 years old dutch designer. Just beautiful.

The exhibition, Art and Fashion, is so well put together, I ran out to get the book. The idea is to tell the story of fashion with the art pieces it references/is inspired by. Sometimes directly, others through the eyes of the curator.
