I've always said a playoff series doesn't start until the home team wins a game (that's not actually how it goes). I think the first team to win at home wins the title.
Knicks get another chance right now.
Game time.
Mike Brown on OG in the Finals: “He's got better as the series has gone along, and he's had a great playoffs for us so far. I think he can reach an even higher (level).”
Hours after the owner went on radio and predicted the Knicks would win tonight and the championship, the Knicks gave up 70-plus points in the first half and are down by 27.
This week has been one helluva vibe turn.
Wemby got KAT with an elbow to the jaw. He apologized after but I wouldn't be surprised if this is a flagrant.
Wemby scored on Mitch, I think talked a little shit, and then Mitch basically elbowed Wemby in the face. Flagrant for sure is coming.
MSG crowd loved it -- receipt for the Jalen one.
KAT is checking in to end the 1Q. Two fouls. I assume the Spurs will put him in every action.
END OF 1Q: Spurs 41, Knicks 22.
New York's rotations were poor and, again, too many turnovers -- four for 8 San Antonio points.
Knicks shot 7 more free throws.
KA just push Kornet in the back as he was jumping for an offensive rebound.
Third foul.
New York's 13-game playoff win streak ends with a Game 3 loss. Knicks fans will have to wait at least 48 hours to see their team win a Finals game at MSG.
New York now has to travel to San Antonio at least one more time.
13 turnovers for 21 San Antonio points.

The Knicks’ dominant run wasn’t their defining trait. It’s always been their ability to respond to adversity, when the door opens slightly for criticism.
Time to find that again:
