[June 11th, 1986] Mexico beat Iraq 1-0 in their final World Cup Group B match at the Aztec Stadium. Fernando Quirarte scored the winner in the 54th minute. Despite playing without Hugo Sanchez, Mexico won the group. Paraguay finished second and will advance.
