OC Transpo promoting local events and then telling us we can't count on their system to get us to these events is just....🤦♀️
Desperately need drivers to remember that "don't block the intersection" includes crosswalks. You're not saving any time sitting here compared to waiting behind the stop line, and now pedestrians need to walk/roll in the car lane or squeeze between two cars (both dangerous options!) #autowa

Like clockwork, whenever a driver kills a child we hear all about how the street has been dangerous for a while. We choose to make our streets unsafe for children. These deaths are policy choices.

Endless problems.
Bad service.

It should not be 30° at 10:40pm in Ottawa, Ontario.
Really would be nice if world leaders cared about our planet enough to protect it.

- Great cooling effect in summer.
- Reduction of speeding because the street seems tighter.
- Cleaner air.
- In winter the leaves drop and let the sun through.
Truly a wonderful thing to add to a street.
So how does a “fare-free weekend” benefit people who need to buy monthly passes?
Why does the mayor mock us like he mocked bike riders and pedestrians before?

Never underestimate the value of prioritizing space for a double row of serious street trees that can create a “kissing canopy” over your sidewalks in downtowns and urban places. #StreetTrees
