Itโs hard. It feels hopeless.
But I have the tools. I have art. Iโm not alone. Neither are you.
mannn I love going back and reworking old paintings. Of course itโs satisfying to see growth in that way, but I also find the process simultaneously answers old questions and introduces new ones. Some skill gaps surmounted, new spaces to endeavor to leap across!
Funny thing about healing: you spend years isolating yourself and learning to be alone, thinking youโve gotten better, until you meet someone new and then you suddenly realize that all these years diving with an oxygen tank doesnโt mean you can now breathe underwater.
