So, after many years of loving Kentucky coffee trees for their remarkable double-compound leaves and their cool seeds in those woody pods (the big, brown seeds sound & feel like ceramic dice)… I finally caught them in bloom!

The thick fog started breaking up, and sunlight on the wet leaves dazzled. Tulip trees are already spectacular, but now? 🤩
And Kentucky coffee tree are in bud, so watch for those blooms soon.
