I’m writing an essay about the history of copyright in America (and why we should not strengthen copyright re AI) and i cannot figure out how/where to publish it.
I’m arguing that writers should not correlate compensation with copyright, and also for the primacy of the public & readers, so I am tempted to just make a Wordpress site. However *some* compensation for the piece would also seem to be consonant with the argument
I don’t really want to pitch it to a magazine (so few left, it’s gonna be long, the whole rigamarole). It doesn’t want to be book length. Putting it in my newsletter wouldnt be great (length, temptation to be sloppy)
Maybe a Wordpress site with my Venmo? I dunno, seems off. Maybe a short DRM-free
