I could be happy in a career where I published unimportant stuff in only the most obscure of journals that maybe two people in the world cared about it, ideally not until decades later... Tragically, no one wants to pay me to do this :P

Only a very small handful of people have read my writing and I honestly prefer it that way, because I do not enjoy being perceived :P (I understand that this is a personality defect and I'd tell you I'm working on it, but I am not)
