Mel Blanc, the "Man of a Thousand Voices," voiced over 400 different characters during his career, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig.
Having a casting director reach out and tell you, "love your voice and don't have a role this time but you would be awesome for my next script!" honestly makes me feel amazing. Statistically, I know my voice doesn't work for everything but at almost a year in this warms my heart
Being afraid of trying your best at something because you might fail is such a huge internal battle I face while auditioning. I want to put my whole self in every audition, breath into the moment, but fuck is it scary. Anyone else fight this feeling?
