Congrats to Symbiommunity lab members Carly Travers (MS student; awarded) and Kara James (PhD student, HM). Both had planned to wait a year but pulled out all the stops to put in strong applications!
Fighting jet lag on a 24 hour travel day with a 5 hour layover is freaking rough.
Seven more hours til I can sleep…

Well today in “bullshit I definitely don’t have time for”… PubMed is tweaking out and deleted 50% of my pubs from my bibliography AND refuses to add them back unless I do it manually.
So if I want to tweak my bio sketch I now have to manually enter all the missing ones.
So… something just a little exciting happened this week.
Eternally thankful to everyone who’s helped me get this far. Excited for what comes next!

Yall the Japanese Disney fans are just built different. But also probably helps that their parks are literally the most incredible I’ve ever seen. So many incredible E ticket attractions.

Upside: I managed to snag a coveted Airport Pikachu (though not full sized unfortunately) before leaving out of Haneda!
