Then you pull the hook from the half-drowned dog's mouth, let the dog go.
You claim you didn't harm the dog & call this sport

Every large vegan community eventually learns a difficult truth. Some of the hostility that arrives in comment sections is not organic. It is not coming from ordinary users who simply disagree. It is shaped by well-funded industries that see plant-based living as a threat to their bottom line.
Almost all of our trail cameras are set to "video". But when one isn't working right, I set it to "photo" and occasionally we get a great one like this of three coyotes being cool.
