I've talked about this with friends and when people gift me things.
"I'm sorry it's not as good as others"
I don't care about that. You spent time and effort working on it, and that has far more value.
If anyone gives you art, gift or you paid for it, please view it as more than just a picture.
Someone is giving you their time and a bit of themselves to you. Their thoughts and feelings are in it. They're vulnerable in front of you.
It is not something trivial. Think about it.
