a bunch of labour MPs who are usually relatively normal seem to be on board with this ludicrously draconian and censorious policy that massively benefits surveillance tech business models. odd

Anyone notice that *whenever* Labour decide to do any kind of social policy it’s always some kind of lurch towards censorship, xenophobia or pandering to bigots. If even *half* of them were genuinely progressive I might find it less abhorrent.
