“We cooked grilled cheese, ribeye, chicken lollipops, St. Louis styled pork ribs, a dutch oven dessert and a pork shoulder,” says team leader Allison Medrano. “We practice 7-9 hours each weekend starting in August or September,” she said.

The Temple High School pitmasters BBQ team just placed fifth in the nation at the National High School BBQ Association’s National Championship Wednesday.
