I found out my father died this morning via a facebook message from a third party (someone I've not seen in years) at 15:36, saying "Condolences on the death of your father I know you weren’t close but it still comes as a shock hope your ok xx" Difficult few months ahead. Back to radio silence.

3) It wasn't that i didn't respond to the letters my dad sent. I never got them. those shitbag neighbours - apart from stealing a bank card and £700+ out of that account - took so much more from me than just my post. And yes, I do feel so much sorrow at this.

As per my father's wishes,there will be no funeral or service - He had a combination of illness (COPD, bone cancer, multiple organ failure). We always think we have more tomorrows & then one day there is no more tomorrows. In the meantime, I will continue to take a break from this platform.

What i'd give to talk to my dad one more time. We always think we have another tomorrow, and one day there is no more time. I'm waiting for a phonecall that will never come. A letter that will never arrive. A "hello" I'll never hear. Sorry, I'm grieving here.

2) Between 2020 and 2024, my dad sent me letters reaching out try to re-establish contact. I never responded, and my dad was confused as to why. Between 2020 and 2024, my shitbag ex-neighbours were stealing my post. I came back from my 50th birthday to find not a single piece of post.

To know the last letters my father ever sent me were stolen, and taken by my ex neighbours and thrown away , the last times he tried to reach out - such evil.

UPDATE : In the past 47 days I have posted up two new posts (about new train station openings that I visited and made the first train on in both directions) ; and only because of that. I've made a deliberate , wilful decision to step away from social media & focus elsewhere indefinitely.

I will continue to check DM's here regularly - every day or two, in case you need to message me.
