I gushed quite a lot during the Q&A and desperately tried to get some anecdotes about 1/2

Occasionally bumped into Carlo Ginzburg doing photocopying in UCL when I worked there. He would sometimes come and do guest lectures. Once I mumbled something about being inspired by micro-history and he looked at me as if I was mad.
