I was a volunteer of astronomical research. Now I edit wikipedia articles and create images with #JWST data. German 🇩🇪 no genAI 🚫🤖 trans, chronic pain, mental illness https://melinathevenot.carrd.co/ she/her

Finally some small droplet shaped clouds. They remind me of EGGs in M16 (ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1996AJ.....) as well as globulettes (ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2007AJ.....). To be honest I think they are quite similar or the same type of object?

See also this discussion about the filters and what they mean for these objects.

Zoom in to the top of a cloud in the #Carina Nebula. 🔭🧪 HH 1004 is on the top and HH 1005 is at the bottom. Red is F470N (molecular hydrogen) and blue is F162N (iron emission) #JWST NIRCam image (link for full image below)
Globulettes are theorized to form brown dwarfs and very low mass stars. In the image above I can see two yellow "stars", maybe one day someone will target them with spectroscopy to find out what they are.
Did not have time this morning, but here are some zoom-in: HH 1008 (left image) and HH 1009 (right image) are the blue and red outflows.
The B-type star CPD-59 2605 does show a possible bow shock nebula. Here the F470N image. I don't think the star moves in the direction of the bow shock nebula. (this is not unusual for massive stars)
