Know the ways to protect yourself from the heat:
Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol.
Beverages with electrolytes can help protect against heat stress.
Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every two hours.
Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothing.

An Extreme Heat Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for an extreme heat event but its occurrence and timing is still uncertain.
An Extreme Heat Warning is issued when extremely dangerous heat conditions are expected or occurring. Avoid outdoor activities. #HeatSafety
