Performative politics at best. It was simple semantics that turned slaves into sharecroppers. A distinction without a distinction for many decades and even today racism is rampant. It is unfortunate these posers couldn’t find something real to do instead of play acting. #NoDelegates

The celebration of Juneteenth started in Galveston, but its impact is felt far beyond Texas. Generations of Americans refused to accept that freedom belongs just to some. They understood that freedom is something to cherish, and that each generation must continue the fight for justice and equality.
