Back in the lineup tonight, Byron Buxton crushed a leadoff homer on the first pitch of the game. 111.9 mph off the bat. 428 feet. 86.4 mph bat speed.
Braden Montgomery hits a walk-off home run against the Braves in his MLB debut for the White Sox. Incredible.
Dylan Cease struck out 11 Phillies hitters and allowed one run in six innings. His 29 whiffs were: -the most by any pitcher this season -the most by any Blue Jays pitcher in the pitch-tracking era (since 2008) -tied for the most by Cease in a single start (also 29 on 5/27/21)
Andy Pages has been so damn good this season. Home run No. 15 for the Dodgers center fielder.
