This cat was rushed to us yesterday with a high temp and signs of heat stress after being found in the dangerous heat. She was panting, lethargic and unable to stand. We used ice packs and fluids to cool her, and now she's doing well, but she was lucky. Heat safety tips: https://ow.ly/Vou950Za5Co

Last night, the Animal Protective League shelter in Springfield, IL had the roofs ripped off both of their buildings by a tornado. Thankfully, all animals & staff are safe, but both buildings are a total loss. Fosters for displaced pets & donations needed!
