The argument made being made by some that Alaska is changing the tax rules for #AKLNG "in the middle of the game" is silly.
The "game" (investment cycle) hasn't started. And we do remember that this kicked off with GLENFARNE asking for a pre-investment change, right? #akleg
Tax fairness doesn't mean zero taxes. Gov't isn't a free good. It means designing the system to spread the burden broadly so that everyone has an appropriate share of "skin" in the process. Alaska's system may be "worst-in-nation." An S-corp fix is part of improving it. #akleg
