Ah, the 2000s. You graduated high school and lived lives of carefree abandon. I did THIS.
listen to me
as a trans woman and huge DC fangirl, seeing this in a DC book means EVERYTHING to me
as a trans writer, seeing an editor and major publisher supporting this kind of surface discussion of actual trans issues is… almost unheard of
this book is REVOLUTIONARY
Anyway, my online brand is Star Trek right now, which is fair, because it is a thing I dearly love and it has consumed me on a professional level lately.
But what you have to understand about how I feel about Doctor Who is that I AM LITERALLY NAMED AFTER DOCTOR WHO.
And it happens every time, with the implication that Doctor Who fans are deluded fools for even liking the show to begin with.
Oh ho ho
Oh, hey, since we're all talking about Spielberg, here's a comic I did with @lafumettista.bsky.social and @jdkrach.bsky.social about a formative incident in his high school days.

I mostly just hate having another timeline full of "good, Doctor Who was bad anyway" because, like, man, I also didn't love most of the most recent era, but it doesn't feel good to see a ton of people - most of whom who did not actually watch the show - trash a thing I care a LOT about.
I'm really jazzed about this season of Jet Lag because I'm jonesing for another Road Trip season since New Zealand and it's clear that this new season is gonna involve a lot of cruising between states.
I didn't notice that next week's Hello Darkness #22 will have a Vampyrates preview inside, but that's pretty great news since I was already gonna plug that issue anyway.
If you learn anything from Justice League Dream Girls #2, learn that the Suicide Squad's health care plan is garbage.
