This is a lovely collection of poems inspired by family, faith and the fight for racial equality. I particularly liked Life and We Are Marching. #BookSky💙📚
Another rollback for substack. This time we're talking about fan behaviour. I wrote this in 2018 and thought it was bad then. We were but sweet summer children. open.substack.com/pub/kellywel...

(One small parochial gripe: a good chunk of the chapter on Liverpool was actually about Manchester, which had its own chapter. That's probably just Scouse pettiness on my part, though.)
This is a hugely enjoyable book and a must-read/listen (I highly recommend the audiobook) for Pulp fans. Nick Banks is a very different character to Jarvis Cocker, and the book is all the more endearingly down to earth for it (I did like him referring to Jarvis as 'His Nibs'). #BookSky💙📚
Morag Rose combines autobiographical detail with social history, psychogeography (something I definitely want to read further on) and interviews with activists. It packs in a lot while still being really engaging and enjoyable to read.
This is a powerful argument for walking as art and an act of resistance, and for reclaiming public spaces and making them inclusive and accessible to everyone. #BookSky💙📚
A brilliant insight into Pulp's long road to stardom, and Nick Banks' childhood growing up in Rotherham. His affectionate tributes to his family are lovely, too. He comes across as a really good bloke. I bet he'd be brilliant to go for a pint with.
I really enjoyed this. A great, inspirational account of Nicola Adams' life and career. A true pioneer. #BookSky📚💙
Happy anniversary from @oldhamfanmedia.bsky.social, everyone. 💙 #oafc
