Humboldt's white-fronted capuchins (Cebus albifrons) are native to Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela. They self-anoint with mud, plants, and insects as anti-parasitics, insect repellents, insect bite relief, and fungicides. Threatened by hunting and forest fragmentation, though not significantly so.
Common patas monkeys (Erythrocebus patas), also known as hussar or wadi monkeys, are found in a wide range of savannas and grasslands across West, Central, and East Africa. The fastest land primates. Threatened by habitat fragmentation, hunting, and persecution as crop pests. Near Threatened.
Popa langurs (Trachypithecus popa) are found in only 4 subpopulations in Myanmar. Total population size is estimated at 135-176 mature individuals. The largest subpopulation resides near Mount Popa, hence their name. Threatened by hunting, and habitat loss and fragmentation. Critically Endangered.
