Recently learned about the phenomenon of "outgassing" where those heavy protective record sleeves effectively release chemicals which rot the vinyl.
Thought I'd escaped mostly unscathed then discovered that almost my entire Broadcast collection is ruined.
Anyway, get those things off your LPs.
