I don’t agree. It’s not proof. These were not issues when WC was scheduled to be here (and Canada and Mexico). But mega events tend to exploit and exacerbate problems in host countries; and FIFA’s corrupt and offers countries w terrible human rights records to ’sportswash’ these.
