On a personal note, I am very glad to once again be in the same city as my wife-to-be (@ncmoreno.bsky.social) and stepdaughter.
I am glad to share that I have accepted a new position in Bret Freudenthal’s group (@freudlab.bsky.social) in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I will be starting at KUMC on May 26.
I look forward to contributing to the elegant structural and mechanistic studies of DNA repair processes that Bret’s group is conducting.
Looking forward to our lab safety inspection being over, so we can go back to drinking coffee in the lab
Today is my last day at DFCI. Looking forward to a week of unemployment, moving to Kansas city, and getting started at KUMC.
