I haven't loggedon for a while, so I don't know if this has caught attention, but Nichelle Nichols' family has won a lawsuit for negligence in her death. I'm so sad and angry. She was such an icon - one that shaped this little girl, who adored and looked up to her. She deserved so much better.

A friend has taken it as her mission to be here every day to pack, paint, load, carry. . . whatever, to help us get ready to sell. Today, I spent the day in the ER because she broke her ankle helping me move a TV. The whole time, through white knuckles, she apologized for letting us down. Girl . . .

Now that she's 14 and has mellowed a bit, my cat and I have arrived at a kind of unhappy medium - wherein she does not wish to be smooshed, and I don't get to smoosh her for nearly long enough. But there were are.
Day . . . I've lost count. Many long days - weeks - of hard labor making my home a saleable house. Fibro flares on the regular as I push beyond my spoons. All the usual medications to stay on top of it.
But, come about 10pm, a good frozen mudslide is my new best friend.
Someone in comments on a YouTube vid about WWII scolded a commenter for suggesting America has abandoned it's values. She said they were brainwashed and that trump supporters would go down in history as the equivalent of the resistance in Nazi Germany.
What do we even do w this level of delusion?
It's late here, but I only just put down my paint roller.
