Hi All! My name is Leticia Urieta and I write dark speculative fiction, body horror, eco horror and more! One of my favorite resurrection stories is "Night of the Living Dead Chola" by V Castro from her book, Mestiza Blood. #HorrorWritersChat
Looks like I’ll just be a late ghost to the chat! I’m Ell, and I write ace horror! Particularly love the gothic and dark fantasy/fairytale. My favorite resurrection themed horror…well dang I feel I gotta say Frankenstein, but also Midnight Mass is so excellent too. #HorrorWritersChat
A quick post from the road as the trip wraps up... jamesryanfiction.substack.com/p/going-on-t... No comments yet.
Hi, I'm Meg. I write mostly epic dark fantasy in long form & quirky stuff in shorts. I go back to classic Frankenstein. And, oddly, Moby Dick came to mind (I'm one of the weirdos who loved that book). I see Queequeg's fate as a kind of resurrection as life buoy to Ishmael. #HorrorWritersChat
Ironically, I missed #horrorwriterschat because I was reading 😅
Howdy #HorrorWritersChat! I'm a Spooky Pickle! For horror, I tend to dip my briny fingers into several inky pots. I often add humor to it, too. Does The Crow count as horror? I'd argue it does in looks, plus the horror of how the characters died and then resurrection. Been my fave since forever.
