Finally got around to watching the Erika Ishii short that has been sitting in an open tab for like a year (And Then, 2021), and YouTube said "You wanna see another short queer film starring a genderqueer Dropout cast member?" (Dandelion, 2025). They were both excellent, so I guess I can't complain!
Catching up on Um Actually, and I cannot believe this episode has been out for 12 days and I haven't seen a single gif of Zac Oyama saying "Guess what? I'm a weird boy." @dropout.tv is usually on top of this kind of thing!
Every day I log into Bsky.app and wait to see if some random word like "scaffolding" appears in an unusual number of posts, so I know there's a news story I've missed.
Interesting the variety of answers this got -- especially since I picked up "needs must" from British media and honestly couldn't think what an American equivalent would be 😅
Tonight I watched four short films on YouTube, three of them were queer, and two of them featured Dropout cast members. And those last two also featured characters living in Seattle, so I'm staring to feel like the algorithm knows me TOO well.
Wow, this is blowing up. Are we still doing the "I don't have a Soundcloud" joke, or did that die with Twitter?
