Unsolicited writing advice, no. 64: A large part of writing is seeing things that others don’t. Train yourself to notice things. Be curious. Take an interest. Remember dreams. Ask questions. Notice scents, tastes, sounds. That way you can start to find ways of getting others to notice them, too.
