I’d like to take this opportunity to reaffirm that the Denver airport is one of my favorite places on Earth. It is completely surreal. It is uniquely liminal while also being very high traffic. Unmatched weirdo vibes, eerie yet cozy, the dogs are CATS, good art and reasonable airport food 10/10

When I graduated college, I took the first job logical with a music degree: food service! I ended up managing a sushi restaurant for a few years, and one of my frequent break orders became a special called Richiban when we had to push hamachi (Rich’s mods of the “ichiban” roll)
