I've accepted that I'll never get to experience *every* piece of media in the world that aligns with my interests. I only have so much time. I've got no discomfort in moving on from something if I need to, as there will always be SOMETHING to fill the gap.

If the creator takes a story you love in a direction you hate... Either write fan fiction or find another story. I PROMISE there are even better stories to find. nothing within a narrative is worth harassing the creator. NOTHING. Criticism? Yes, absolutely. Harassment? That way lies madness.
