I feel that 85% of Kaiji's identity is just in how Fukumoto draws faces, like if you took the title off the live action poster I would never have guessed it's supposed to be Kaiji
I like that they establish early on that this is a two-way street, just like how seeing Yamada brightens Sasaki's day, messing with Sasaki brightens her day
