🌱 #roseWednesday
My offering for today is called Rosa ‘Bright and Breezy’ and I spotted it while waiting for the Tour Guide training at Wisley yesterday. The weather stayed dry until I was in my car on the way home and I would really appreciate it if the same could happen today when I do a tour.
🌱 #magentaMonday plus friend. It is predicted to be a wet week but I am not complaining today because I can stay at home and stitch. I might do a bit of complaining tomorrow if I get wet on our Tour Guide training or on Wednesday if I get wet doing a tour.
🌱 #clematisThursday
I have loads of Clematis planted in my tiny garden and they will all be appreciating the rain as I do although I would be grateful for a dry morning as I am off to do a tour.
🌱 #SundayYellow
We had a good soaking rain yesterday but today is predicted to be dry and I am off to Wisley’s Hilltop for a morning of volunteering. I will be interested to see how the gardens have responded to the rain.
🌱 #insectThursday
A favourite plant, Cephelaria, and obviously attractive to this bee. It’s predicted to be a very wet day. Poor bees! At least I can stay indoors and stitch.
I met this distinguished gentleman when I visited the cutest Garden Centre in Ravenscourt Park. It is called the W6 Garden Centre and I was really impressed with the range and quality of the plants. Oh and I also had a delicious lunch! #Caturday
🌱 #flowersonFriday
One of the water lilies growing in Wisley’s Hilltop Wildlife lakes.
It looks like it is going to be a dry day so if you want me, I will be in my tiny garden. My neighbour of 25 years is moving today and I will have new neighbours.
🌱 #roseWednesday
Rosa Leah Tutu with raindrops in sunshine. So lovely!
I’m off to London again this morning leaving my tiny garden to soak up more rain.
🌱 #sixonSaturday
It’s going to be another wet day but I’m not complaining. Even though my garden is tiny, it was difficult to keep it watered during the recent heat. My soil is sandy, light and free draining and although I mulch as much as I can, it does enjoy regular rain.
🌱 #TuesdayBlue with a little friend.
We had a good soaking rain yesterday and more predicted today but if it could hold off until about 11.30am I would be grateful. I’m off to do some Tour Guide training with Jonathan this morning. He missed out May because he was in Greece rescuing turtles.
