This has been my lock screen for years now. Of Brian Johnson’s many achievements, I think the Eagle Transporter from Space 1999 is his greatest. Loved it as a kid and I still think it’s probably the coolest Sci-Fi craft ever. RIP.

Some extremely sad news today folks. Multi OSCAR and award winning VFX legend, Brian Johnson has died. Stingray, Thunderbirds, 2001, Alien, Star Wars and so much more. I met him quite a few times, shared a show table and dinner once or twice. An absolute influence to many. RIP Brian. So long.
