Had a chance to speak with Andrew Nichols on CBC News Network about this yesterday.
After the interview I heard from people — in Alberta & other parts of the country — who said they didn't realize:
a) There are going to be TEN questions in the referendum
b) Each question gets a separate ballot.

Alberta's referendum in October will include at least 10 questions.
Each gets a **separate ballot**.
That means Elections Alberta will print 45 million (!!) ballots.
After polls close, by law, it has 48 hours to count all of them.
It's currently recruiting 60,000 workers to pull it all off.
