the Menlo Park depot kit I picked up depicts the station in its original footprint when built in 1867, but without the side addition which was added in the 1890’s
(though the kit does include the Victorian ornamentation which was added at the same time as the extension)

It’s quite a stretch goal to have my N Scale layout span enough distance that I could add Menlo Park as one of the stops, but this kit from Showcase Miniatures has been out of print for years, so when I found it, I couldn’t resist picking it up just in case!
