Useful advice apropos of nothing in particular: find your city's Reddit board. If e.g. a violent hate mob is moving through your city centre, you will know exactly where they are, what they're doing, and where they're moving. While your legacy media live stream will say "protest in the city centre."

It also marks another day of the nation completely swerving the question of why children under the age of 16 need to be prevented at all costs from seeing the content that their own parents and grandparents are posting, during daily screen time far exceeding that of the under 16s.
