Huge issue in suburban greater Boston! We've got exclusionary suburbs that have min lot sizes of 10k sq ft, 20k sq ft, it's ridiculous. Meanwhile you can build a 3 decker on 2500 sq ft no problem, & 4–6 storey apartment bldg on 5k sq ft (20ish homes!)

There is a growing suite of successful case studies for minimum lot size reforms. While Houston is the classic example, there are great examples from Portland and Nashville, too. (And hopefully, St. Paul soon!) These cities show that this reform lowers housing costs and works at scale.
