On a train home from London and the weather is looking reassuringly colder and less pleasant with every stop. I have missed the grey sky and slightly too intrusive breeze very much.
In a very warm rented flat near Tower Bridge. We have a ceiling fan in the bedroom that is making the whump of the helicopter blades at the start of Apocalypse Now. We are a little upstream of where the story of Heart of Darkness is told on the deck of the Nellie, but still.
This is great in many ways, but what I especially like about it is the tiny reflection in the puddle.
