Hemingford Grey Manor. Was home to Lucy M. Boston, writer of The Children of Green Knowe. Born in Southport Lancashire in 1892. She dropped out of her degree course, to become a volunteer nurse during WW1. Married a distant cousin, the marriage failed but she had a son, Peter. 👇
