So, I don't think the problem is that you can't make great art with conservative themes. Jurassic Park is a great example of such a movie. The problem is that Matt Walsh really just wants Sam Neil to turn and face the camera and explain which baptist denomination he belongs to.

The problem is that “I am often scared and angry about social change” does not inherently lend itself to interesting art. You can be as technically skilled as the greats, but art with nothing interesting to say is just a commodity.
