Great paper from Guillaume (CEH-UK) agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/... The climate crisis makes humid heat a growing threat - if too hot & humid we cannot cool ourselves through sweating. We show soil moisture heterogeneity can locally amplify humid heat (& will aid predictability).
