I don't know how this account keeps finding Moby Dick quotes that sound so relevant to modern life but they keep doing it.
Remarkable how the ABC announcers are still saying things like "These Knicks have done something incredible but you've really got to give it to the San Antonio Spurs as an great team with some really promising young players."
I need to start adopting the language of Musk, Altman, and Amodei in my work life. "Yes I understand you were not happy with the quality of my work this quarter, but this is the worst my work will ever be. In two years my work will be so good, no one else at this company will have a job."
Well yeah obvious. If it's a James Gunn show it's gotta have the weird animal guy to go with its ensemble cast, lead with parental issues, quirky modern soundtrack, and just a little more sexism than could be an accident.
I don't know if journalists and the public at large are going to be in the right headspace to understand this, but the AI bubble pop is the biggest piece of damning evidence against billionaires. A small handful of people threw money at nothing because they were bored and will tank the US economy.
I can't believe they made a movie where the pitch was clearly "What if The Purge but fucking"
