A distinctive cranefly, Epiphragma ocellare, at Bawsinch NR @scotwildlife.bsky.social seen on 22 and 26 May this year, also 28 May last year (recorded). Cryptic circle pattern on its wings reminds me a bit of female Orange-tip's wing underside @dipterists.bsky.social
