Absolutely this. From the "island of strangers" speech, to the twitter videos of deportations, to the confiscation of watches of refugees, to Starmer's claim that he sympathises with men who don't want "their daughters" to walk past places where migrants live - this is Labour's disaster.
Having a IRL social life is, I think, the biggest protection against the worst of online harms - and particularly the brain boiling misinformation. Just... engaging with the wider world

The reluctance among media outlets to specify that these pogroms are the work of far-right loyalist thugs is particularly weird, given that they sign their work! The LVF spray tags on the houses of the people they burn out, whether Catholics, migrants or refugees. They've done this for decades!
This is a tangential and arguably spurious (football, men's) World Cup tie in I can appreciate.
I do think the simple fact of *having a job* can sometimes help counteract the worst of it though. Harder to drive yourself mad on social media quite so quickly if you have work to get on with.
