We're in a renaissance of creative project leads being given larger budgets yet remaining fully engrossed in multiple roles within their own production (Parson's Backrooms & Goosworx's work on TADC as most recent examples) resulting in the end product being wholly authentic, even if rough in places

No spoilers but Im thankful my TADC theater experience was calm so I could stew in all of the visuals and themes. I might be the minority, but as someone invested in the series largely for how it would tackle all of the psycho-philosophical details of its premise, I found the finale very enjoyable.

The origin of this unique/DIY approach to creative production is definitely a byproduct of how culture, art and information are shared on the Internet and I find that ridiculously fascinating... It's something I've continuously observed and I'd like to one day make some kind of art deconstructing it

Finished the Backrooms and found myself surprised in a "oh wow this director knows exactly what mood he's making and I am so here for it" kind of way. With it releasing in the cultural moment we currently sit in now, I found myself pleasantly unnerved and comforted by the film at the same time.
